Ironman Los Cabos

When most people think of  Cabo San Lucas in March images of warm beaches, margaritas, and fish tacos come to mind.  But for a crazy few, there are thoughts of Ironman with all the sweating, pain and glory that comes with it.

Backyard Rides - Sullivan Ridge

After my ride today I was thinking about how lucky I am to be able to get out and enjoy rides from my front door.  Today with the internet it's easy to get jealous of "epic" looking rides that you see all over the world.  Sometimes you just need to stop and take a look at your own backyard to find your own epic ride.

Hanging Out in Joshua Tree

I imagine that photography is a little like searching for the perfect wave.  I can go out some days and get a great picture on the first try and then on other days it just seems like I can't find anything interesting to look at or pictures don't turn out like I had hoped.  Joshua Tree is one of the most picturesque places on earth so I figured this would be like an epic surf session.

My Top 10 Cycling Shots for 2013

Here is my list of top cycling shots from 2013—as voted by me!  It's that time of year and everyone's doing it so I thought I would put my two cents out there as well. I'm not a pro photog and my photos aren't going to set the interwebs ablaze, but I'm proud of them.

Italian Adventure

Earlier this year we were talking with some friends and hatched this wild idea to go to Italy to watch the Cycling World Championships in Florence.  This somewhat joking idea turned into a full-fledged vacation with multiple cities, planned stops as well as some delightful unplanned surprises.  We took off with a hole in the middle of the trip where we were going to "just look for a place in Tuscany" as we drive from Cinque Terre to Rome.
