Just Another Walk With a Camera
Self realization: I like wandering around with camera in-hand. I consider myself lucky that I live within walking distance of so many great things. If I head north I can go up to the Santa Monica Pier and if I head south I can see all the craziness that is Venice — man, I do love Venice and the thrill of the hunt! I'm not sure if it's the thoughts of reliving my youth or just the lust for hanging at the beach without a care in the world, but I could spend hours just walking around and watching the world go by.
Last weekend was one of those times that I just wanted to get out of the house. I've been cooped up for a long time with some injuries, and getting out and taking pictures seems appealing again. So, with camera in hand, I headed out the front door to see what I could see. As usual, Venice didn't disappoint, and I found a little bit of everything from street scenes to skateboarders catching air, cliche sunsets and even something that made me think of the Bates Motel.
